Innovation and Research Manager

Making sense of, finding value in, and contributing to our programs will enable our customers to easily get the help they need, upskill to empower their future, and provide insights to help address intervention points in the poverty cycle.

DESCRIPTION:

For close to a decade, MOFC has been at the forefront of customer-focused applications advancing MOFC's work and launching programs to support our extensive partner network. In this position, you will collaborate with teams across MOFC on multiple projects to empower innovation as new projects are designed and launched. As a self-motivated team member, you will work with leaders across MOFC to understand needs and develop approaches to support the MOFC mission. Specific activities include managing marketing and research initiatives, shaping strategy around new programs, and managing identification and forecast strategies for emerging technologies.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Lead marketing and research strategies to support MOFC initiatives.
• Leverage research and innovative concepts to transform new ideas into solutions.
• Identify trends in technology advancements and future forecasting to support strategic programs,
• Manage marketing and technology research and analysis to enable development of future-ready programs.
• Lead preparation of reports and presentations for presentation to Executive Leadership.
• Act as a customer facing advocate for the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.

Experience:

Relevant work experience.

• Enjoys solving problems, is detail-oriented, has an inquisitive mind, and is comfortable working across multiple teams.
• Marketing, innovation, and research management
• Applies critical thinking skills and logic to solve problems and identify innovative solutions to critical problems in our community.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
• Experience with software packages including the Microsoft Suite and Adobe Suite.
• Willing to learn new skillsets.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Working Conditions: Normal office environment with remote options. Applicants must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment.
