Stewardship Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

The Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is looking for a Stewardship Coordinator to help ensure that our donors experience high quality interactions with the organization through gift acknowledgement and stewardship, donor recognition, and positive professional relationships. This position will also be responsible for educating our constituencies on the five assets of MOFC as well as creating passion and support for the work we do.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaboratively field donor requests and inquiries on-site during core business hours through the department phone line, voicemail, and email inbox.
• Support the design and execution of a high-touch donor stewardship program, leveraging phone, e-mail, mail, and other channels to communicate the impact of our supporters' generosity.
• Collect, compile and author stories of impact to share with donors.
• Facilitate donor acknowledgement and stewardship through regular review and updating of acknowledgment letters and sending of year-end letters, thank you letters, and special request acknowledgments.
• Implement and document a systematic and integrated donor stewardship program, including monitoring a centralized calendar of coordinated efforts throughout the department and management of all development materials.
• Provide support to Annual Giving team regarding Pledge Partner program.
• Coordinate donor tours at any of the five assets.
• Work in collaboration with other development team members and support other fundraising initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience: At least two years of nonprofit development experience with an emphasis on cultivating stewarding and soliciting gifts from donors. An understanding of gift acknowledgement, donor cultivation and stewardship is required. Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred, with ability to create, analyze, and present reports.

Skills/Competencies: Proficient with Microsoft tools and possesses excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that the work product is accurate. Must be able to communicate in a compelling and succinct manner. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks, meet deadlines and be flexible to changing priorities. Provide excellent customer service. Great interpersonal skills. Ability to represent Mid-Ohio Food Collective with professionalism.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Normal office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
