Development Data and Insight Coordinator


Full Time, Exempt


Development Operations Manager



SUMMARY: Responsible for cross-functional department problem-solving, data analysis, and improvement of processes and workflows. Works creatively to analyze donor data to assist development leadership in strategic annual goal-setting and in understanding progress to goal, ensuring workflow and data needs are met, and partnering with external stakeholders to create additional tools and reports.


  • Oversee database management including donor records, gift entry, reporting and donor list generation.
  • Develop systems for automating the entry of data into the donor database.
  • Develop paths to effective and strategic workflows and goal-setting
  • Generate standard products such as: fulfilling list requests, gift reporting, trend reporting and analysis, annual report lists; fulfill reporting needs for Feeding America data requests; assisting development leaders in budgeting and forecasting annually, along with progress reports via the development dashboard tool.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to understand and generate end-product requirements, producing analytics that satisfy the requirements identified through business analysis to enable actions to be taken and create value for the organization.
  • Work with accounting and development team members to ensure that gifts are tracked and credited appropriately.
  • Manage data-related and reporting projects for the department leadership team.
  • Consult across the department to document business best practices, making SOPs accessible to pertinent teams while ensuring adoption of best practices
  • Create tailored content for monthly acknowledgement letter.
  • Streamline workflow and ensure timely and effective operations of development operations team.
  • Manage department volunteers by recruiting and interviewing volunteers, organizing projects, and overseeing work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: At least two years of fundraising or business development experience. Two years of experience and working knowledge of constituent relationship management software required. Experience using Microsoft Office software required. Strong project and time management experience preferred.

Skills/Competencies: High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. At least intermediate-level proficiency with some variant of SQL, at least intermediate-level proficiency with the use of R or Python or an equivalent, and at least some exposure to basic web development languages such as HTML, and CSS. Ability to represent MOF with professionalism when interacting with stakeholders. Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times. Proficient at task management and oversight, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, be flexible, and meet deadlines. Works well and effectively with others.


Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Occasional travel may be required. Applicants must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment.
