JOB TITLE:

Donor Relationship Manager

STATUS:

Full Time, Exempt

REPORTS TO:

Director, Corporate Partnerships

DIRECT REPORTS:

None

SUMMARY: Assists with planning, organizing, and implementing Mid-Ohio Food Collective's (MOFC) development initiatives throughout the fiscal year. This position will help manage and grow critical corporate relationships with the goal of developing strong corporate funding opportunities and employee engagement programs.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Manage full relationship of assigned corporate partnerships through a process of stewardship, cultivations, relationship building, closing of gifts, and presentation of corporate partnership opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver funding/sponsorship proposals and event solicitations.
  • Act as liaison for employee giving campaigns in all facets of the campaign including coaching on implementation of campaign best practices, speaking engagements, and donation reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee giving training events.
  • Act as liaison for assigned cause-marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with coordination of food drives from companies and organizations.
  • Supports Corporate Partnership team with CRM database functions.
  • Assist in the implementation of new team strategies.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events as assigned.
  • Serve as representative for MOFC at community events and outside functions, serve as a tour guide for outside groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.

Experience: 3-5 years of corporate fundraising, relationship management, or equivalent experience. Experience in public speaking required. Knowledge of strategic relationship building, conflict resolution, and strategic planning. Donor database experience required.

Skills/Competencies: Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills, strong presentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must have strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, and be a self-starter. Ability to develop relationships with leaders of member agencies and businesses. Ability to interact with difficult personalities. Must be able to represent Mid-Ohio Food Collective with professionalism when interacting with member agencies, partners and media.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Occasional travel may be required. Applicants must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment.
