JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individuals to secure gifts between $2,500 to $5,000 with a goal of increasing gift size through the management of a donor portfolio. The position also educates constituents about the five assets of Mid-Ohio Food Collective.


PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and provide stewardship to donors that have the capacity to make gifts of $2,500 - $5,000.
  • Manage a portfolio of 100 mid-level donors within the $2,500 - $5,000 giving range.
  • Work closely with the Annual Giving team to identify new donors at the $2,500 - $5,000 gift level.
  • Track donor activity and update donor records as necessary in Charity Engine (MOFC CRM).
  • Partner with departments as it relates to a case of support and customer testimonials of all five assets.
  • Conduct donor tours at any of the five assets.
  • Work in collaboration with other development team members and support other fundraising initiatives.
  • Adhere to Mid-Ohio Food Collective's values of being customer centric, innovative learners, trustworthy and One Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience: At least two years of development experience with an emphasis on cultivating, stewarding and soliciting gifts from donors. An understanding of gift acknowledgement, donor cultivation and stewardship and gift solicitation is required. Candidates should possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills and be computer literate.

Skills/Competencies: Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent customer service. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Willingness to adjust to changing priorities. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to represent Mid-Ohio Food Collective with professionalism. Previous CRM experience a plus.


JOB CONDITIONS:

Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Occasional travel may be required. Mid-Ohio Food Collective is a drug-free workplace.
