Agency Services Internship at Mid-Ohio Foodbank
Reports to: Agency Services Program Manager
Status: Part Time (24-32 hours per week, flexible scheduling)

SUMMARY:  The internship will help support Mid-Ohio Foodbank's efforts to learn directly from the client about their experience of our food distribution programs. 

The position will provide opportunities to gain experience in several key areas:
  

   - Food insecurity 
   - Communications                                                                                                                                                                                            - Survey Collection and Analysis
   - Community Outreach

PRIMARY DUTIES:                                                          

   - Complete 50-75 interviews in the Franklin County area
   - Input interview data into database
   - Provide narratives, when applicable, of interviewee's stories
   - Participate in special projects and other duties as requested

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education: Students should be pursuing a degree in social sciences or related fieled 

Skills & Experiences:
    - Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
   - Ability to represent Mid-Ohio Foodbank with professionalism when interacting stakeholders
   - High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
   - Customer service experience recommended

JOB CONDITIONS:

Working Conditions:  Normal office environment; vehicle transportation required for community outreach; occasional time for evening/weekend events required.

Compensation: This internship is unpaid but can be used to obtain college credit. If planning to receive credit, students are responsible for coordinating with their college to bring the appropriate paperwork. Mileage reimbursement for use of personal vehicle provided.
