Brand and Marketing Intern

Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Brand/Marketing Summer Intern is responsible for creating visually appealing materials that communicate information to support awareness of Mid-Ohio Food Collective and its mission using a variety of mediums, while learning about our process and strategy.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Design and create printed and digital communications assets for the organization.
• Produce graphics, layouts, and various content of finished artwork and/or illustrations.
• Evaluate and assess materials to ensure accuracy and brand compliance in the design.
• Assist with photography and video, including arranging and editing as necessary.
• Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
• Receive feedback from the Creative Services Manager and Senior VP of Brand and Marketing and make necessary changes
• Assemble final presentation material for printing
• Proofread material to ensure accurate and high-quality work.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education and Certifications:

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursing a degree in Graphics Design or related field of study.

Experience:

At least 1 year of design experience or coursework required. Experience working between multiple creative projects is preferred.

Skills/Competencies:

Strong time management and resource management skill; Proficiency with Microsoft Office, The Creative Suite and illustration capabilities required. Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Creative thinker. Ability to manage multiple tasks, willingness to adjust to changing priorities are required.
