Corporate Donor Relations Coordinator

SUMMARY:

The Corporate Donor Relations Coordinator ensures that corporate partners experience high-quality interactions with the organization through communication and stewardship, donor recognition, and nurturing relationships. The position also solicits gifts, educates our constituencies, and creates passion for supporting the work of Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC).

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Manages a portfolio of mid-level donor relationships to engage small and medium sized businesses in supporting MOFC.
• Manages Spring/Fall Employee Giving campaigns execution: serve as liaison to corporate campaign coordinators, plan and execute events, and manage reporting
• Generates leads to identify new prospective small- and medium-sized business partners.
• Partners with Marketing and Communications teams on the implementation of robust social media strategies to promote corporate partnerships and campaigns.
• Manages donor recognition programs and societies.
• Serves as initial point of contact for various funding campaigns and events by working with external event organizers, assessing needs, and coordinating internal support.
• Maintains corporate donor data and generates reports in donor CRM database.
• Builds and maintains donation forms/pages for corporate partners.
• Assists with stewardship of corporate donors.
• Conducts on-site donor relations including facility tours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience: At least two years of development experience with an emphasis on cultivating, stewarding and soliciting gifts from donors. An understanding of gift acknowledgement, donor cultivation and stewardship and gift solicitation is required. Candidates should possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills and be computer literate.

Good interpersonal skills. Ability to represent Mid-Ohio Food Collective with professionalism. Previous CRM experience a plus.
