Corporate Engagement Manager

JOB TITLE:  Corporate Engagement Manager
REPORTS TO:  Director of Corporate Engagement
STATUS:  Full Time, Exempt

SUMMARY:  Manage full relationship of assigned corporate accounts through a process of stewardship, cultivation, relationship building and presentation of corporate partnership opportunities.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Through a process of cultivation, stewardship and relationship building, facilitate the best possible partnership opportunities for corporate prospects and existing partners.
  • Act as Operation Feed liaison to campaign coordinators in all facets of the campaign including coaching on implementation of campaign best practices
  • Assist in the development of recruitment strategies for new corporate partners and stewardship and retention strategies for existing corporate partners
  • Prepare proposals for consideration by corporate partners and prospects
  • Identify new corporate partnership opportunities and complete cold call outreach to potential partners
  • Provide leadership for Operation Feed and Corporate Engagement projects as assigned
  • Assist in the management of the flow and processing of Operation Feed donations
  • Serve as representative for Mid-Ohio Foodbank and Operation Feed at community events and outside functions, serve as a tour guide for outside groups
  • Participates in special projects and other duties as requested

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. 

Experience:  At least three years of experience in marketing, fundraising, sales or business. Experience public speaking required. Knowledge of communication and public relations practices in the corporate environment is required. Knowledge of strategic relationship building, conflict resolution, and strategic planning is required.

Skills/Competencies:  Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills, strong presentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must have strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, and be a self-starter. Ability to develop relationships with leaders of partners and businesses. Must be able to represent Mid-Ohio Foodbank with professionalism.

 

JOB CONDITIONS:

Working Conditions  Normal office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
