SUMMARY:
The Creative Services Manager is responsible for managing and implementing design of all Mid-Ohio Foodbanks marketing assets, and determining and implementing creative direction for all public facing materials, campaigns and events including presentation development, communication pieces, newsletters and marketing collateral.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Analyzes market demographics and internal clients' goals to determine design options and production methods.
- Develops schedule, timeline and priorities for all graphic projects while coordinating all elements of the creative process between internal clients and Marketing/Communications department.
- Designs, develops and implements the graphics, layout, printing specifications and production for all printed and digital communications vehicles.
- Facilitates and outlines ideas at creative brainstorming sessions to determine overall direction for each marketing and communications piece.
- Designs and produces graphics and formal layouts of finished artwork and/or illustrations.
- Leads the evaluation and assessment of materials and graphic services to ensure accuracy and brand compliance in the design.
- Responsible for style guidance and compliance that supports the overall brand, including regular review of Style Guide with the Vice President, Marketing/Communications/Public Affairs.
- Administers and coordinates vendor servicers to meet productions requirements and timelines. Researches and recommends new vendors to find best solutions for production needs.
- Leads the workflow and communications of all graphic projects through the organization. Provides estimates for all in-house graphic projects.
- Manages project workflow process to ensure all creative deliverables are completed efficiently and on-time with the most up-to-date information.
- Collaborates with Communications and Digital Media Manager and IT Coordinator on web content, style compliance and presentation.
- Participates in special projects as requested
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business or Marketing is required.
Experience: At least 2 years managing direct reports and projects required, 3-5 years of agency experience preferred. Non-profit experience is preferred.
Knowledge: Strong project management, time management and resource management skill with experience in managing multiple creative projects is required.
Skills/Competencies: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, The Creative Suite and illustration capabilities required. Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent presentation skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, willingness to adjust to changing priorities and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Working Conditions: Normal Office Environment, ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
