Donor Relations Coordinator for Mid-Ohio Foodbank

JOB TITLE: Donor Relations Coordinator
STATUS: Full Time, Non-exempt
REPORTS TO: Director of Annual Giving
DIRECT REPORTS: None

SUMMARY: 

The Donor Relations Coordinator ensures that donors experience high-quality interactions with the organization through gift acknowledgment and stewardship, donor recognition, and nurturing relationships.  The position also solicits revenue, educates our constituencies, and creates passion for supporting the work of Mid-Ohio Foodbank.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Manages a portfolio of mid-level donor relationships to engage individuals in our work and solicit support. 
• Manages Pledge Partners monthly giving program including soliciation and administration. 
• Designs and delivers special solicitations related to Mid-Ohio Foodbank activities. 
• Manages donor cultivation and recognition programs to enhance the donor experience.
• Manages a portfolio of donor relationships to engage individuals in our work.
• Supports major donor cultivation efforts. 
• Creates and distributes year-end letters and special request acknowledgements.
• Conducts on-site donor relations including facility tours.
• Produce complex database reports for the department. 
• Collects, compiles and authors stories of impact to share with donors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Experience: At least two years of development experience with an emphasis on cultivating, stewarding and soliciting gifts from individual donors.

Knowledge: An understanding of gift acknowledgement, donor cultivation and gift solicitation is required. Candidates should possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills and be computer literate.

Skills/Competencies: Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent customer service. Strong writing skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks.  Willingness to adjust to changing priorities. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to represent Mid-Ohio Foodbank with professionalism.

JOB CONDITIONS:

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Working Conditions:  Normal Office Environment. Occasional travel may be required.
