Program Manager
SUMMARY: Oversee MOF direct service feeding/benefit programs to ensure that program activities support strategic goals, have measurable outcomes and refer participants to other food resources available to low-income individuals in their communities in and effort to build systems that support food secure environments for the people we serve.
Responsibilities
Develop measurement matrix and evaluation rubric to benchmark and track program success and impact outcomes
Oversee the development of tool kits for programs that include standards for program partnerships (enrollment, implementation, reporting, etc.)
Build relationships with key organizations to serve as program partners
Identify opportunities for partner organizations to be linked with additional MOF services (produce/SNAP) and/or federal, state & community-based assistance programs.
Works with staff members to develop annual work plans with clear goals that align with MOF strategic initiatives and conducts annual performance reviews based on those plans
Work with Development team to secure funding for program areas; provide program information and statistics for grant applications and reports
Participates in special projects as requested and performs other duties as assigned
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following safety practices and policies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Licenses/Designations: Driver's license. Food Safety Training (provided by MOF)
Experience: Three to five years' experience working with community programs. Must have a clear understanding of effective program design and demonstrated success implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs. Three years of management experience is preferred.
Skills/Competencies: Ability to work effectively in a team environment with proven success leading teams to achieve set goals. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Willingness to adjust to changing priorities. Good interpersonal skills. Must be proficient using Microsoft Office applications. Candidates must represent Mid-Ohio Foodbank with professionalism when interacting with clients, volunteers, community members and Foodbank staff.
JOB CONDITIONS:
Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Travels within Foodbank territory as necessary.
