Seasonal Gift Processing Specialist

SUMMARY: Responsible for general support services for the Development Department, including clerical and administrative services.

25-30 hours per week between 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Update and maintain confidential electronic donor files according to departmental procedures.
• Process and enter all gifts into database.
• Prepare letters, emails, faxes, and other general communications.
• Field all incoming general donor calls and emails.
• Execute thank you letters as needed.
• Carry out routine office activities such as typing, copying, and filing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education and Certifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: Previous customer service experience required. Experience utilizing relationship management software or databases required. Experience in an administrative support or clerical position preferred. Ability to operate a variety of office equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.

Skills/Competencies: High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Grammar and spelling skills required. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, be flexible, and meet deadlines.
