Video Production Intern

JOB TITLE: Video Production Intern

Working at Mid-Ohio Foodbank will allow interns to hone in on skills like openness, collaboration, and innovation. Interns will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects to further their editing and producing skills. Internship Time Commitments:

We host interns through-out the summer and ask for a minimum of 2 days per week commitment. While an unpaid internship, we ask that all interns commit to a minimum of 2-3 months to ensure completion of project. The internship position could be used for classroom credit as determined by your college or university internship guidelines.  

Position Summary

Encouraging creativity, this position will work to plan, shoot, edit, and produce video content that represents our brand. Interns will have the opportunity to strengthen project management, video editing, and professional work-based skills.

Primary Duties

• Record, edit, and produce marketing videos for various departments
• Provide support within and outside the marketing department to work on assigned projects
• Work with creative staff to execute concepts from start to completion
• Assist with implementing and monitoring video campaign in a timely and accurate manner
• Work with others to troubleshoot any issues as they arise
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:

Education: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience: Basic experience with video recording, editing, and producing videos         

Knowledge: Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator/ Photoshop with a good base understanding in audio recording.

Skills/Competencies: Must have strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented. Be able to work well within a team and independently both inside and outside of marketing department. Strong communication skill that will be effective through writing and visual design.

Additional Requirement: Applicant must have access to their own equipment for filming and editing.
